Falkes come to visit!

Russell, Melissa, Travis, Quinn and Patrick came to visit for the weekend!

We went sledding in Steamboat on Friday! It was SO FUN! Afterward we went out to Big House Burger.

Haylie was a champ. She stayed at the bottom but got tossed around from person to person. She was just chill the whole time until she crashed on her dad's shoulder.

My riding buddy and I...

They have a contraption that takes you up the hill. All you do is sit in your tube and wa la your at the top. I could get used to this!

Porter took on the responsibility of feeding Haylie at the restaurant. It was so thoughtful and cute.

The kids got Root Beer in a bottle. So fun!

Saturday we hung out and visited. In the evening Mike and Rowena came down. I made Zuppa Toscana and chili and we ate at Josh and Robyn's house. We visited till about 9:30 when they kids started to have melt downs. It was fun to visit and enjoy family!

The weekend and a sprained ankle

Those cheeks!

Corbin and Autumn tried selling stuff on the street. Not so successful... but a good learning experience!

I love this picture.

Melanie sprained her ankle before her game on Friday. She was practicing, stepped on a scooter and sprained it. It was very sad. I thought her choice of shirt was... perfection!

Autumn's 10th Birthday!

Morning birthday presents from siblings! Look at that hug box! ;)

Birthday presents after school!

Autumn choose to have ice cream sandwiches for her birthday treat this year. So fun!

I love this girl! She is a joy and continues to amaze me. Her imagination is constantly in motion. If she isn't drawing or creating something, she is singing. She is loving and gives the best compliments. I love her and I am so glad I can watch her grow.

Biking the back road!

The kids and I decided to ride our bikes from Dixon to Baggs!

It was a long process with everyone but Haylie riding their bike. Melanie ran/ walked the whole way! Autumn and Corbin were fast on their bikes, though Melanie kept up with them. Lydia stopped at each cattle guard and it was a lonnnng process. But hey, it wasn't a race and we had a good experience.

We stopped about halfway for lunch. These kids are goofy!

Haylie did really well! She napped and made noise to hear her voice wobble, so cute! She was a champ!

We are totally doing it again and hopefully Ben can come!

Helping with the corn harvest and stories with Great Grandma Workman

We went up to Burlington to help with the corn harvest.
On Sunday Gma Workman came to visit. Autumn started asking questions about her childhood so Gma started tell stories. The kids all gathered around to listen. It was a very sweet experience!

The oldest and youngest!

Preschool!

Lydia is going to our friend's preschool that she is doing in her home. Lydia is thrilled!
This stinker is smart! At home Lydia and I are gonna start working on reading because this kid is a sponge. She is convinced that she is big like her brother and sisters, so there is NO stopping her! I love this spunky monkey!

Thursday movie night!

First Day of School

Melanie 7th

Autumn 4th

Corbin 1st

Lydia is in preschool- she starts later this week.
Haylie is being homeschooled. ;)

I'm not gonna lie, we are all so excited about going back to school. These kids made the most of the homeschool and weird summer but now they are ready to be with their peers and learn from their new teachers. I loved having them home (mostly), but I love that they can go to school (and I can read my novels in peace). :)
